History

Since 1961

1961

OLI has been committed to delivering market-oriented products since its foundation in 1961.

1972

Specialising originally in immersion vibrators for concrete consolidation, the 1980s saw the company begin production of electric and pneumatic external vibrators, which would go on to become OLI's main products and would account for 70% of the sales by the early 1990s.

1997

Acquisition by Wamgroup.
Since 1968, the year in which Vainer Marchesini, the Group’s founder and current chairman and C.E.O, manufactured his first screw conveyor, the name WAM has come to stand for innovation in bulk solids handling technology and equipment supply.

The opening of affiliates across the globe was the next step, the first foreign subsidiary being set up in China, while more branches in other continents soon followed.

2003

OLI has been headquartered in Modena, northern Italy, since 2003.

2007

OLI is home to the Group's first state-of-the-art automatic warehouse since 2007.

2012

OLI is the world's top selling company of Electric External Vibrating Motors, with worldwide 7 manufacturing plants, 16 trading subsidiaries and 36 warehouses.
VISAM

2013

Acquisition of VISAM.
Since 1994 VISAM has been dedicated to designing, manufacturing and marketing electric vibrators for industrial applications requiring high performance and reliability. A full range of vibrating motors that are designed to suit the most demanding applications with top quality materials and using the best components available on the market.
Wolong

2015

WOLONG became OLI's major shareholder. Founded in 1984, and through almost 30 years’ rapid development, Wolong Holding Group currently has 3 listed companies: Wolong Electric (600580SH), Wolong Real Estate (600173SH), and Wolong-LJ (LIJ0. SI), as well as 54 holding subsidiaries and more than 18000 staff with RMB 24 billion worth of total assets, RMB 30 billion worth of annual turnover, and an industry layout with the manufacturing as its core flanked by real estate and financial investment.

2019

Acquisition of COVIBRA.
With a view to continuous growth and expansion, OLI acquires Covibra, company specialized in the production of high frequency pneumatic vibrators, thus completing the already rich concrete consolidation division.
